Welcome to YAFFÁ — where Jewish ritual meets beauty, meaning, and connection. ✨
The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to YAFFÁ. YAFFÁ operates this website and online store, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”). Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline your rights and responsibilities when using our Services. Please read them carefully — they include important information about your legal rights and obligations, including warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.

To use our Services — including browsing, purchasing, or creating an account — you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, and that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact hello@yaffa.life immediately.
Your account is personal to you — please do not transfer, sell, or share it with anyone else.
SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS
Each YAFFÁ piece is created with care, intention, and natural materials. Our products are hand-crafted or assembled in small batches, which means subtle variations in color, texture, and finish are part of what makes each one unique.
We make every effort to present accurate photographs and descriptions, but colors or details may appear differently depending on your device or screen settings. And, product updates may take place after products are professionally photographed.
We reserve the right to modify product descriptions, pricing, or availability at any time. Some items are limited edition or seasonal and may not be restocked.
YAFFÁ’s products are designed to elevate Jewish ritual and reflection — they are not intended as absolute religious instruction or halachic authority.
SECTION 3 – ORDERS
When you place an order, you’re making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. Your order is not confirmed until payment has been processed and you receive an order confirmation email.
Because many of our products are hand-made or packaged to order, we may be unable to accommodate cancellations or changes once an order is submitted. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.
Our return policy is outlined in our Return Policy. Unless otherwise stated, purchases are for personal or household use only and not for commercial resale.
SECTION 4 – PRICES AND BILLING
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted and are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product will be the price in effect at the time of purchase and will appear in your order confirmation email. Prices do not include shipping, taxes, duties, or import fees unless expressly stated.
You agree to provide complete and accurate payment and billing information so that your order can be processed smoothly. By completing a purchase, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and that all charges incurred by you will be honored.
From time to time, we may offer promotions or special pricing. Each promotion is governed by its own terms, which will apply in addition to these Terms of Service.
SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Orders are lovingly packed and shipped from Austin, Texas. Processing may take up to 7 business days due to the handmade and small-batch nature of our products.
Once an order leaves our studio, title and risk of loss transfer to you. Delivery times provided at checkout are estimates and not guarantees. We are not responsible for carrier delays, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control.

SECTION 6 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content associated with YAFFÁ — including our original writing, all Jewish Seasonal Companion™s, The Shabbat Flow Book™, Sabbath Lite™, designs, icons, candle labels, product presentation, product photography, packaging, guides, and all text, graphics, and layouts — is the exclusive property of DEBEE LLC (or its licensors) and protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual-property laws.
You may view or download content from the Services for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, or otherwise use YAFFÁ’s materials without prior written consent.
YAFFÁ, its logo, and related product names are trademarks or registered trademarks of DEBEE LLC. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of YAFFÁ’s Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product that gave rise to the claim.
Certain jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for personal injury or gross negligence; in those cases, this limitation will apply only to the fullest extent permitted by law.
SECTION 17 – INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DEBEE LLC, Shopify, and their affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claim or demand — including reasonable attorney’s fees — made by any third party due to or arising from your breach of these Terms or violation of any law or third-party rights.
We’ll promptly notify you of any claim that may involve indemnification and allow you to participate in the defense, but we retain the right to manage the process to protect YAFFÁ’s interests.
SECTION 18 – SEVERABILITY
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that portion will be interpreted to reflect the parties’ intent as closely as possible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 19 – WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT
If YAFFÁ does not enforce a right or provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive it.
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the full agreement between you and YAFFÁ and supersede any prior communications or agreements, whether oral or written.
Any ambiguities shall not be interpreted against YAFFÁ as the drafting party — our intention is clarity and fairness.
SECTION 20 – ASSIGNMENT
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any of your rights or obligations without our written consent. YAFFÁ may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or to any affiliate, without prior notice.
SECTION 21 – GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and any related agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and both parties consent to such jurisdiction and venue.
